Archaeologists!
I think being an archaeologist would be my Social Scientist job. Being able to practically dig up the past would be pretty cool. Imagine finding just one gold coin that could tell you a little bit about an ancient
city we'd never even heard of! Or digging up a new dinosaur bone in your back yard. Before I move on let me tell you a little bit about what archaeology is and what it means.
Archaeology is the study of ancient humans, and how they lived. Archaeologists try to answer these questions through the artifact they leave behind. From these artifacts they can answer questions about their culture, and economy. Like, did they hunt for wild animals, or did they domesticate them and then killed them at a certain age? Did they eat from wild plants, or did they harvest sow and then harvest? Did they trade or buy items, or where they available to all? That's the some of the basic facts that makes an archaeologist. But here's my opinions.
I think archeology will help us unlock the future by answering the questions we have about the past. We could figure out so many things about thousands of year humans how they lived, and what they did to survive. Just like one of the earliest civilizations, the Sumerians or the Roman city Pompeii that was buried under volcanic rock and then rediscovered around the 1700. Or finding a bit of DNA from a prehistoric man and comparing to what what we are now and what we might become. I think archaeology is really interesting. I hope other archaeologists will discover new artifacts and tell us about new cultures, and new villages so the whole world can expand it knowledge about the past.
Last but not least, I think being an archaeologist would be a great job because of all the different place around the world you get to visit! Almost every month someplace new. Seeing different cultures and seeing different people,in the present and from the past. I think being an archaeologist would be a exciting job and that why i choose it as my Social Scientist Job.

All about Me
My name is Sol. I am originally from Argentina, but i've lived in Malaysia pretty much my whole life, so i guess you could say i call it home. I have two sisters which some of the teachers may know from a few years ago, my parents, and last but definitely not least my two dogs. I really enjoy playing with them, as well as running, swimming, biking, dancing, and reading. I guess you could say some of my friends describe me as funny, weird, outgoing, drama queen, and i guess nice.
Which brings me to my next topic. I've never really been a "Harry Potter Fan" I've always just skipped the reading part and watched the movie. But my eldest sister (Iva) does otherwise. She's always been the type to do everything perfectly and exactly how its supposed to be done. Because of this, I also have to be the one who has to do everything perfectly. So since has already read all seven of the Harry Potter books by J.K Rowling... so do I. Believe it or not i really do like all of the books so far their really exciting and interesting, i'm on the fourth book right now and its called The Goblet of Fire, hopefully i can finish reading all of them before next year ends.
I really liked all the Harry Potter movies, but the last one i've seen would be Toy Story 3. Yes it is more for younger kids but to me it's considered a classic so i have to watch it. Besides, It's like it got an upgrade, the movie was a lot more emotional than any of the rest. So i was really surprised.
I've watched lots of movies over my holidays, but one of my favorite holiday memories, would probably be being back in my hometown climbing lots of mountains with my dad, sisters, and cousins. We always have lots of fun, but it's always so cold. So we try to ignore that till we get to the top of the mountain.
Academic goal for me would be to improve in all subjects, it's going to be pretty hard but we'll see what happens. A social goal would be just to make as many friends as possible, hopefully i'll reach those goals and have a really great year.
